Probably the saddest theme of the whole EP, Corrosion of the Soul, describes a state of total loss of emotional control. A condition where nothing matters anymore, where being human no longer has any meaning.

The theme came as part of a project of music and fine arts, integrated in a course that some of us attended at the time, where two riffs were created without any premeditated connection, by different people. In a joke we tried to join them. Although they portrayed different sensations, the connection between them flowed naturally, we felt a tune we had to use. From then on, more ideas emerged and we completed the composition. In this song we pick up influences from Depressive Black Metal, which gave emphasis to the inherent message.
